Cafe Busy Bean isn't “just another coffee shop”. What makes us unique is our distinct appreciation for quality--high quality coffee, high quality food and high quality experiences. We are true believers in the power of a great cup of coffee, which can spark meaningful conversations and lead to exciting new prospects. We are also firm unrelenting crusaders of homemade food and freshly baked goods, and purveyors of the delicious flavors that result from natural ingredients. and freshly baked goods.  For these reasons, Busy Bean serves only the highest quality foods (free from preservatives) and the most refined coffee based beverages.

As experts in the industry, we have sourced a selection of the world’s finest coffee, in an effort to provide each visitor with a lasting taste experience. We have also collaborated with premium brands such as La Colombe Torrefaction, Maison Routin 1883,  Shady Glen,  Mighty Leaf and others in an effort to source the highest quality coffees, syrups, baked goods and iced desserts. This, combined with the state of the art equipment used to prepare our coffee (which includes the Italian iconic and influential 1961 Faema “E61 Legend” Espresso machine) allows us to compete with some of the most acclaimed coffee and baked good connoisseurs worldwide.

While our products are high end, our atmosphere is contrastingly relaxed.  We aim to provide a space for our customers to socialize and hang out, free from the pressure of everyday life, be it alone or with family and friends. Our coffee shop has elements of both European coffee bars and American cafes: themes which appeal to virtually guest we proudly serve. What’s more, the team at Busy Bean is warm and welcoming, and between preparing fresh crepes and Belgian waffles--they will gladly engage in conversation with guests. E61     The machine that made history

E61 is the first machine to use a volumetric pump to give the water the ideal 9-atmosphere pressure and keep the pressure constant during the whole extraction process, unlike lever machines. It's equipped with innovative features like an automatic boiler fill, a built in volumetric pump, two pressure gauges, to control the pump and the boiler pressure, and the adjustable thermal balancing system (Faema patent). Furthermore in E61 Legend, thanks to the preinfusion system, the extension of the contact time between the water and the ground coffee before extraction favors optimal extraction when it comes to the organoleptic properties of the espresso.

The company currently has cafés in Philadelphia, New York, Washington, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles. La Colombe is representative of roasters that originated in the third wave of coffee, and was one of the early pioneers of direct trade coffee sourcing. La Colombe supplies beans to some of the New York City’s top restaurants including Daniel and Le Bernardin,

Our Food...


One of our unique features, is that we make French Crepes. Besides we are a coffee shop, we have a huge selection of French Crepes and Belgian Waffles, that we prepare the whole process right here, in our small kitchen. Our Crepes go from regular wheat flour to blended fresh spinach for vegan savory and Red Bits for Red Velvet Crepes. We like to go wild, extreme in our selections, to satisfy almost every possible need in beverages and food. Our menu is complimentary and expandable. Often, we will have rotating and selective new products, that you may not see on menu, but asking about your preference is always a good option.
